Our lab located in Japan is looking for a Sales Manager with a proven record of driving the sales process from plan to close. The individual with be required to design and implement a strategic business plan for rapid development of overall EAG business, achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. In addition, build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. This person should have a BS/MS degree in Materials Science or similar field with 10+ years of experience in a Materials Science related business. Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

TEM Team Leader

Eurofins EAG Material Sciences Group, China has an exciting opportunity for a TEM analyst and team leader to join our new analytical testing lab located in Shanghai, China. The team leader will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the TEM lab daily operation. This role will also be responsible for operating TEM equipment, arranging lab testing and data handling. It is expected to be able to communicate with customers in terms of technology, understand well on the customers’ needs, provide real and effective testing report. A successful candidate should have 3+ years of TEM experience, have good knowledge of TEM theories and TEM work (STEM, EDS, EELS), be able to analyze the TEM data and a MS degree in Material, Physics or Chemistry, familiar with microstructure analysis, be fluent English (both oral and written) and have good Digitalmicrograph skills. This position will require some training at our US lab for 2-3 months.

TEM Analyst

EAG Laboratories is looking for a TEM analyst to operate the TEM equipment in our new advanced imaging and surface analysis lab located in Shanghai, China. In this position, the analyst will be responsible for operating TEM equipment, arranging lab testing, data handling, familiar with analyzing the TEM data report, be responsible for  communicating with customer in terms of data, generating the lab reports and testing reports within the deadlines. The right candidate should have a MS degree in Material, Physics or Chemistry, 3+ years of TEM operational experience, good knowledge of TEM theories, familiar with microstructure analysis and be able to analyze TEM data.

Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries, and directing them appropriately; notify company employees of visitors arrival; maintain the security and telecommunications system. XPS Scientist

EAG Laboratories is looking for a Scientist who will work in the Surface Science group and be responsible for operating analytical XPS/ESCA instrumentation (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy/ Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis). This position requires a solid technical foundation in materials science and/or analytical chemistry. Duties include, but are not limited to, loading and running XPS instruments, processing data, writing reports, communicating and meeting with customers, conducting supervised R&D, and basic instrument maintenance activities. Developing analytical protocols, interpreting spectra, writing reports and communicating information with clients.

Ideal candidate will have a MS or PhD degree in Chemistry with experience interpreting XPS analytical data. Knowledge/experience in other surface analysis techniques is a strong plus, e.g. TOF-SIMS, Auger Electron Spectroscopy. XRD/XRR Scientist

This position requires a solid technical foundation in materials science and analytical chemistry. Ideal candidate will have a BS, MS or PhD in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science degree with 1 or more years of industrial experience and/or 2+ years of hands-on academic/research experience using XRD conducting powder X-ray diffraction analysis.

Materials Analyst

Nanolab Technologies, a Eurofins Materials Science company, is looking for a individual to be responsible for characterizing the microstructure of customers’ samples with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), analyzing chemical element spatial and content distribution using Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and fabricating thin-film specimen using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) for subsequent Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis. Work closely with customers and provide them with experimental data and detailed structure-property analysis on their samples. Sample Prep Technician

Primary function is processing/imaging STEM/TEM samples using FEI 4xx/Helios Dual Bean FIB tools and TEM sample preparation of lamella. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques. Ideally, candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline or at least 2 years of focused experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation, experience with TEM sample preparation and a solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis (through previous work experience or course work).
