Laboratory Technician/Analyst - RGA

Eurofins EAG Materials Science LLC is a global scientific services company providing testing, analytical and characterization services to technology and life science related industries. The Fort Collins division is a leader in internal gas composition analysis (RGA) for ensuring reliability of critical components in military, medical, and aerospace technology.

The candidate would become proficient in the operation and understanding of mass spectrometer high vacuum systems, as well as, the development of quality data, learning to interpret and write high quality test reports. Ideal candidate will have a college degree in materials science, chemistry or similar field and/or equivalent work experience with internal gas composition analysis (RGA), previous science classes that include a lab or work experience or mechanical/technical experience and must be able to lift 50 pounds

Materials Scientist

Nanolab Technologies, a Eurofins company, is looking for a Materials Scientist to perform cross-sectioning analysis using FIB/SEM/EDS for various clients in semiconductor, consumer electronics, bioscience, polymer, metal, coating, plating, optics and legal industries. Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate analytical thinking skills, have a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials problem solving and strong communication skills. Knowledge of TEM experience, in both sample preparation and analysis is a plus.

Instrument Electrical Service Engineer

EAG Laboratories is looking for an Engineer who will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of EAG’s analytical instruments and ancillary equipment located at the Sunnyvale, California lab. The ideal individual must have at least three years of experience with circuit design, board design, component level troubleshooting for equipment or instrumentation.

This position could require periodic travel to other EAG laboratories to include Minneapolis, Shanghai, Taiwan, Sunnyvale, El Segundo and occasional travel to other sites.

The individual should have a BE/BS in electronics or electrical engineering and 3-5 years of experience trouble shooting and repairing high voltage circuitry, high vacuum systems, analog/digital circuitry, electro-mechanical assemblies, and related systems.  Experience with Cameca and Physical Electronics systems a plus.

SEM Technician/Analyst (graveyard)

Nanolab Technologies is looking for a SEM Technician/Analyst to join our Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) team. The person in this role will work directly on scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM). Job functions include performing SE/BSE imaging using SEM and Bright/Dark field STEM, interpretation of data and interacting with customers. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques. Note – This is a graveyard position from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Ideal candidate will have an understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis (through previous work experience or course work); knowledge and recent hands-on experience with SEM/STEM is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline, Master degree preferred

Senior Financial Analyst

The FP&A function works as a business partner to deliver quality financial analysis and modeling, enabling Sr. Management to make informed decisions. The position requires both sound technical skills (data manipulation, reporting, and modeling) as well as strong inter-personal skills, in dealings with cross-functional colleagues and the Sr. Management team.

A blend of reporting, report writing/modeling, systems analysis and analytical experience is required for consideration. Production Operator (6 month contract)

EAG Laboratories, with 17 locations and 600 employees is a global scientific services company seeking is production operators to join our team on a temporary basis located in Santa Clara, CA. The production operators will be responsible for operating automated test equipment (ATE) to test semiconductor parts/components. Note this position will require availability to work during the weekend.  Day Shift: Thursday – Monday, 8:00am – 4:30pm and Swing Shift: Friday – Tuesday, 3:30pm – midnight. Ideal candidate has 1 year experience with IC testing (aka ATE test) in electronic manufacturing.

The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline or at least 2 years of focused experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation, experience with TEM sample preparation is highly desirable. Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis (through previous work experience or course work); Knowledge and recent hands-on experience with TEM sample preparation is a plus.
