Adding LC/MS Scientist Expands CHEMIR’s Analytical Lab Services
We welcome additional scientific expertise to our LC/MS laboratory, as CHEMIR continues to expand and grow. Jason Batchelor, M.S. joins us, bringing additional experience in Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS) analysis.
Jason Batchelor earned both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Chemistry from Marshall University, Huntington, WV. His Master’s thesis research focused on collision-induced dissociation of 1st generation PPI dendrimers complexed with divalent transition metals. Mr. Batchelor most recently served as a Scientist with Patheon Biologics, and also has worked at Pfizer and ABC Laboratories, Inc.
“Our LC/MS capabilities are focused on identifying materials, and also quantifying non-volatile, semi-volatile organic or inorganic compounds in a mixture” explains Dr. Albert Lee, Director, CHEMIR. “Having Jason here will further expand our chemical analysis, deformulation and failure analysis services.”
