About the Event

Join us for an engaging in-person event at our Sunnyvale CA lab, where we invite aspiring analysts and scientists to discover the exciting opportunities at EAG Laboratories. As a leading materials science company, we are actively seeking talented individuals in materials science, chemistry, physics, analytical chemistry, and chemical engineering majors. If you are pursuing any of these fields, we highly encourage you to register for this event!

Schedule

1. Welcome Presentation
Kick off the event with an introduction to EAG Laboratories, covering our overall mission and initiatives, with a special focus on our Sunnyvale lab and its specific projects.

2. Lab Tour
Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our lab facilities and the cutting-edge work we do.

3. Q&A Session
Engage directly with our team during the Q&A, featuring employees at various levels (Analysts and Scientists) who will be available to answer your questions about EAG and career paths.

4. Lunch
Enjoy a complimentary lunch while networking with EAG representatives and fellow aspiring scientists.

Purpose

This event aims to recruit great talent from the next generation of analysts and scientists, engage young minds in STEM fields, and enhance EAG Laboratories’ branding and visibility within the academic community.

Sign up Process

1. When you click on the link below to register, click on “I’m Interested” in Smart Recruiters. Please provide your major, year in school, graduation year, resume, and any dietary restrictions

2. We will select 15-20 participants who align with our current hiring needs. You must be a current student or a recent graduate (May 2025).

3. Note: Registering does not guarantee a spot. Selected participants will be notified and provided with event details, including the address and any day-of information.

4. If you register but are not chosen for in-person attendance, we will send you a recording of the presentation and you will be added to our Talent Community, where you will receive updates on new job and internship opportunities, upcoming events, and industry news/trends.

5. Transportation to and from the event is the responsibility of the attendee.

6. Registration Deadline: End of Day, October 8th.

7. All attendees are required to sign a form prior to entering the lab.

Dr. Yanika Schneider

Yanika Schneider
Senior Scientist – Materials Characterization

Dr. Yanika Schneider received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in materials chemistry with a thesis focused on the synthesis and characterization of functionalized polyolefin materials. She then joined UC Berkeley/Lawrence Berkeley National Lab for her postdoc to study the self-assembly of block copolymers containing polymerized ionic liquids. After her postdoc, Dr. Schneider briefly worked at an energy startup helping a small team develop nanostructured carbon-based supercapacitors. In 2013, she joined Eurofins EAG where she specializes in the characterization of diverse materials using infrared and x-ray fluorescence spectroscopies among other metrologies. She also works as a project manager leading complex multi-technique investigations involving polymer degradation, contamination analysis and deformulations.
