EAG Welcomes Metallurgical Experts

Evans Analytical Group, Inc. (EAG) recently announced the acquisition of Scanning Electron Analysis Laboratories, Inc., also known as SEAL Labs, a leader in metallurgical investigations, failure analysis and litigation support. SEAL will operate as a business unit within the EAG Materials Characterization (MC) division.

With a long history in Metallurgy, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), SEM, Residual Gas Analysis (RGA), and surface analysis, SEAL has extensive expertise in metals, alloys, composites, glass and plastics. The work conducted at SEAL is highly specialized and the team has extensive experience in metallurgy and chemistry, often working as consultants and expert witnesses for litigation support.

SEAL has established itself as a premier laboratory in assisting companies to better understand metals, alloys and other materials. Clients include law firms and leading companies in the defense, aerospace, consumer products, industrial products, electronics and medical device sectors.
