Ask the Expert: Polymeric Material Investigations

During this live Ask the Expert event, we will answer pre-submitted questions from our audience regarding characterization of polymeric materials used for product development, R&D, and failure analysis.

Common polymer-related issues that Eurofins EAG Laboratories investigates include contamination, delamination, cracking, discoloration, cure inhibition, chemical incompatibility, and processing defects (e.g., bubbles/voids, particulates, molecular weight changes, residual stresses).

Eurofins EAG Laboratories offers a full suite of analytical techniques to evaluate the composition, morphology, topography, and rheology of polymeric materials and components. Common techniques include FTIR, Raman, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, GPC, TGA, DSC, Optical Microscopy and SEM-EDS (fractography), and XRF or ICP.

Do you have questions regarding specific characterization techniques? Do you want to learn more about the suite of techniques EAG offers for polymer testing? Do you have a polymer-related challenge that needs to be solved? If so, please join us for an intimate Q&A with Eurofins EAG Laboratories technique experts. During this 60-minute session our experts will answer pre-submitted questions from our audience. If time runs out and all questions have not been answered a follow up email will be sent to all attendees with those answers.
